Contractor, White Horse Electrical, has opted for a full range of cable containment solutions from Dietzel Univolt, including PVC conduit and conduit accessories in an LFS
specification as part of the firms M&E works at Heatherwood Hospital in Ascot.
The new £98m Heatherwood Hospital is set to replace the 100-year-old existing facility and is due for completion by 2021.
The team at White Horse Electrical has worked closely with Univolt's Steve Davis during the specification phase to identify the safest and most robust products available, presenting the firms unique solution to the main contractor and end user.

Large quantities of Univolt’s PVC LSF as well as their new wire basket cable containment has been installed throughout the vast site.

The new Heatherwood Hospital will have six operating theatres and 48 inpatient beds, plus 22 day-case cubicles as well as housing the trust’s private patient unit. It will offer a range of outpatient and diagnostic facilities such as cardiology, radiology, lithotripsy, children’s clinic, physiotherapy, and orthodontics and a primary care hub with GPs, community nurses, and other healthcare specialists.
