Univolt and AT&T – a perfect partnership!




Univolt is gathering momentum as a preferred stockist of leading independent electrical wholesaler, AT&T.

 

The Southern based wholesaler operates four large branches with Reading and Maidstone now stocking complete Univolt ranges, whilst Brentford is due to come on board imminently and with Chelmsford in the horizon.

 

Both businesses are well established brands and with shared values and ethos, a collaborative approach has been a natural evolution. Both businesses are part of Fegime and recognise the value in working in partnership with wholesalers, suppliers and customers.

 

Ian Wright, Commercial Director at AT&T has been instrumental in developing the relationship alongside David Mattin, Managing Director of Univolt in the UK. Ian explained: “Univolt is a brand that everyone is aware of and in recent years, their brand has become notably stronger as they have expanded both their reach and product range.

 

“There are a number of over-riding factors that make Univolt a great company to deal with. Their service levels are excellent - their next day delivery promise presents a clear advantage over other suppliers, as well as the ability to collect from their headquarters.

 

“They retain strong stock levels, and their knowledge of our industry is excellent, enabling their team to support us through commercial negotiations. We are both part of Fegime UK and Univolt have met all of our requirements to become a gold status supplier, giving our external teams confidence that they will be getting the best possible commercial deal.

 

“They are innovative in their approach through their introduction of products such as PVC LSF. In addition, their LSF0H range offers another level of safety may be huge scope for this safety driven specification, particularly in light of the tragedy at Grenfell, and we are looking forward to working more closely with Univolt to champion and drive awareness through our branches.

 

“I believe that as an industry we are sharpening up and our product choices are no longer driven solely on price. We are becoming more considered in our specifications and this is where Univolt’s cable containment range will really come into its own.
