New Univolt partnership elevates presence in Republic of Ireland

Univolt has its sights firmly set on further penetrating the Irish market, forging a dynamic new partnership with leading distributor, Atex Limited.

The long established firm supplies over 200 wholesaler brands across the Republic of Ireland and is now the country’s exclusive supplier of Univolt’s full cable management range.

Steve Davis of Univolt explained: “We have had little presence in the Republic of Ireland for some time, and have recognised the scope and potential of the country for Univolt, but haven’t had the right distributor to make the right impact. Our collaboration with Atex will undoubtedly change this, and our union marks the beginning of a fantastic partnership for both parties.

“Atex is an established firm whose values and ethos align with our own in terms of customer service, quality and delivery. They have a great team in place, as well as complete coverage across the country. Together, our aim is to elevate our exposure and brand awareness, and make Univolt the go to supplier of cable management within Ireland in the coming years.”

Conor Neenan, Managing Director of Atex Limited added: “Univolt is a well-recognised and respected brand within the Irish market, however,  there is so much more potential. We will offer the complete range of cable management in its many forms, from their new three compartment dado trunkings which is designed not only for cat5e/6/6a, but future proof to the latest cat 8, as well as PVC bench, maxi trunking and core products encompassing round conduits and mini trunking.  We also see added value in Univolt’s PVC LSF (Lower Smoke & Fume) and their innovative HFT LFSOH (Lower Smoke and Zero Halogen) range.

Alan Brown, Head of Sales Distribution of Atex Limited continued: “We see our journey into cable management as an exciting diversification from our original product focus. Although we have already branched out into more traditional electrical supply markets, we have identified a clear gap in the market with respect to local cable management supply, which we are very keen to tackle and develop with Univolt. We are thrilled to represent them within the Irish community and look forward to penetrating the market with them.”
